ROLU Furniture

As I dive deeper into my new role with Urban Outfitters and prepare for my stores opening next week, I've been submersing myself in brand appropriate design. The furniture by ROLU is so spot on, it would almost be too perfect just to re-create it. Either way, I am definitely finding myself very inspired to make some chairs  to try on shoes at my store and maybe even for my own barely furnished New York apartment.

(I am also very impressed with how they support artists' work on their index page.)

Maker Faire Africa 2010

I was so stoked to  learn of the Maker Faire last week, an absolute dream for any artist who crafts from repurposed materials. They're were many user submitted portraits of the craftsman attending via Flickr, but I felt this one was most appropriate for the blog.
(Nice denim brah.)

The Arrangement of Space

Roman & Williams from The Scout on Vimeo.

Although I've been sitting on this video for a while, I've kept returning to it lately as I gather outside inspiration for my own perspective on space and display. Although I've gained a wealth creatively from Roman & Williams' views,  I still manage to find inspiration for just about every aspect of my life in this video.
Definitely worth fullscreen and headphones.
