this monochromatic morning
this monochromatic morning
2009
mattpecina
I watched it fade in slow motion
again like a paper cut cuticle
or a texas winter
lucid and timeless
like the way you dream when you dont want to fall asleep.
watching your night again like a technicolor movie
and how true it becomes when it slips
into this monochromatic morning
with no promise of spring
out of context
and out of mind
